Diego Amador
He played with artists such as: Remedios Amaya, Diego El Cigala, Tomatito, Chick Corea, Bireli Lagrene, Luis Salinas, Jorge Pardo, Carles Benavent, Alex Acuña, Abraham Laboriel, Larry Coryell, Jerry Gonzalez, Pat Metheny, Charlie Haden amongst others.
His solo career takes elements from flamenco, jazz and classical music. In 2003 his album “Piano Jondo” was awarded the price “Flamenco Hoy” as best solo instrumental album. In 2004 he won the “Girardillo” award as best solo live act. His latest album “Rio De Los Canasteros” has been nominated for the Latin Grammy Award as best Flamenco album.
